Charity Bag Rickshaw

For the second year, Fragonard has designed a new Charity Bag in collaboration with Duppata, an association that works for the diversity and plurality of decorative and popular arts of India. The artist behind this design is named Shanuyar Chitrakar and specializes in the emblematic pictorial tradition of Kalighat, in West Bengal. Fragonard works for the education of children in India by donating 100% of the amount generated from sales of the Charity Bag (excluding VAT) to Indian orphanages and charities. For this new version, the Fragonard charity bag features a square format that is both practical and generous, and two handles for carrying by hand or shoulder. Its interior pocket facilitates organization. The beige cotton is animated by a screen print representing a rickshaw and its elegant passenger dressed in a traditional sari, a reminder of its commitment to Indian populations and know-how.
