FRAGONARD'S ART OF LIVING:
olfactory to decorative
Fragonard has always wanted to use the best natural raw materials to make its olfactory creations, but the taste for travel has not been limited to the search for these. At the end of the 1990s, alongside its olfactory creations, Fragonard developed an "art of living" concept whereby decorative objects for the home, fashion, accessories and jewellery coexist in harmony, affirming a pronounced taste for travel, age-old know-how and a colourful joie de vivre.
Quilts and bedspreads woven in North India, travel pouches hand-embroidered in Vietnam, when the rice seasons give brave female smallholders a little respite, and artisanal pottery and hand-painted vases from Kashmir were the first elegant and refined elements of the Fragonard art of living. The collections are designed with the originality that is so necessary in this day and age.
With success and a growing taste for travel, many new products have been added over the years. Gentle living and good humour are the brand's watchwords, symbolised by the gently evocative names of the perfumes and the messages embroidered on the travel pouches and the decorative cases, all of which make joyful and refined gifts.
